Meet The Staff

Vicki Gold

Vicki has been Dr. Gold's most important supporter and assistant ever since starting in the practice of Medicine. She has fulfilled the roles of Practice Administrator, Office Manager, Accountant, Book-keeper, Ophthalmic Assistant, Insurance Expert, and many others. You will now see her smiling face at the front desk when you check in. Vicki's is the first voice you will hear, cheerfully greeting you when you call our practice and she will do everything she can to help you organize your visits and make your time with us as pleasant and productive as possible.

Sylvana Kent

Sylvana comes to us from South Africa. She has been in the US for 10 years and plans on staying.

She has an extensive Customer Service and Support background and will be working with the vision correction patients, both LASIK and epi-LASIK, to make sure all the details are attended to before, during and after surgery.

She is an invaluable assistant on Laser Vision Correction days in the operating room, pre-op, and post-op areas. She utilizes her Ophthalmologic Assisting skills to make every patient's experience as comfortable and non-intimidating as possible. She has completed the JCAHPO Home Study Course with flying colors. In 2007 Sylvana completed the requirements to become a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant. She is a computer whiz and whenever we need anything done on the computer, we turn to Sylvana.

Sylvana graduated from Joubert Park Technical College in South Africa in 1997 and is a welcome addition to our staff, enabling Dr. Gold to concentrate on the medical aspects of patient care.

Denise Rosenkrantz

Denise Rosenkrantz joined our staff in February 2006. She is one of our LPN’s who will be treating you at Laser Body Solutions. Denise comes to us with over 15 years experience in the health care field, having graduated from the Eli WhitneyTechnical School Licensed Practical Nurse program as an LPN.

In addition to her nursing experience, Denise is a Licensed Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, a member of The American Registry of Radiology Technologists and has a BS degree in Human Services from New Hampshire College.

Her accomplishments include becoming a Cutera Certified Laser Intervention Specialist as well as a Certified ZERONA and HydraFacial Technician. Denise has the skill and knowledge necessary to perform all of the very exciting cosmetic procedures we provide at Laser Body Solutions.

Victoria Butkus

Victoria graduated from the Thompson School of Practical Nurses in Brattleboro, VT, in 1979 and has worked as an LPN since then.

She is a former patient at Laser Body Solutions and liked us so much she came here to work. She now holds down both jobs: with us and as a nurse at Masonicare Hospital in Wallingford, CT.

She is trained in Laser Hair removal, Titan, Genesis, IPL, ZERONA, HydraFacial and more and just loves taking care of people. She is a Cutera Certified Laser Intervention Specialist as well as a Certified ZERONA and HydraFacial technician- and really loves utilizing the skills she has learned with all of our non-invasive laser technologies as well as ZERONA Laser fat removal.

Laura Robertson

Laura attended Brio Academy where she became certified as an Aesthetician. She joined Laser Body Solutions in July 2011. Her expertise in Skin Analysis combined with her knowledge of Skin Care Products results in a customized treatment for every client. She is trained in skin care, HydraFacial, Genesis. She offers complimentary consultations for those with Skin Care or Aging concerns.

Jean Crowley

Jean's expertise in therapeutic massage comes highly recommended to Dr. Gold. Indeed she is currently Dr. and Mrs. Gold's personal massage therapist.

She is a fully licensed graduate of The Connecticut Center Of Massage Therapy and a member of the AMTA. Her training includes Swedish Massage, Classic Western techniques, Hot Stone Therapy, and she specializes in Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage as well as Trigger Point work.

Jean's cheerful, caring demeanor and ability to listen to each individual client's needs is the cornerstone to her practice. Jean's practice emphasizes focus on the client; working together with the client to personalize each session in an effort to achieve optimum health, wellness and balance.
