New Haven Tattoo Removal Gaining Popularity at Laser Body Solutions

May 8, 2014

If you ask someone why they have “that” particular tattoo in “that” particular location, there’s always as story. Often people seek out a tattoo as a way to remember a vacation, memorialize a death or celebrate a milestone.

Getting a tattoo starts out as a way to express yourself or rebel against authority. Unfortunately, over the years opinions and feelings change making a tattoo meaningless or embarrassing. After several years of trying to hide an unwanted tattoo, many patients choose to have processional tattoo removal. Quickly becoming known as a safe and effective way to get rid of a nightmare tattoo, laser removal is gaining popularity.

How long have you had your tattoo?

This was my first tattoo  experience and I got both about 8 years ago on vacation down south.

Why are you seeking treatment at this time?

I really like tattoos so that’s not the issue. The problem is that since it was my first, I didn’t know that some artists are better than others. This one isn’t nearly as creative and beautiful as my others. I found one artist I like and this old one doesn’t match his style!

What is your goal for your Tattoo Removal?

I want them completely gone, and I know it will take several treatments.

How has this tattoo affected your lifestyle?

I’m constantly trying to hide them. Not only is it not artistic, it’s an image of a sun and moon. Sometimes people think I am in a cult. I work in a school so this is not good!

Where is your tattoo located?

They’re on the inside of both wrists…in plain sight. About the size of a half dollar.

Do you have any remaining questions or concerns?

You answered all of my questions with the Kirby-Desai scale. I am expecting to be in treatment for about 5 or 6 months. I don’t mind because I know the image will get lighter and lighter each time.
