|MicroNeedling |is the Latest in Facial Rejuvenation and Anti-Aging
Micro-Needling is the latest, greatest technology for smoother, fresher, clearer, younger looking skin for all skin types.
Micro-Needling is also sometimes called Percutaneous Induction Needling or Percutaneous Collagen Induction Therapy. It’s a method of introducing a controlled wound to the skin, which triggers a release of the body’s natural growth factors- collagen and elastin. This process causes much less damage to the epidermis than dermal rolling or other ablative lasers and treatments. New skin cell growth happens very quickly and has a high success rate in terms of results.
What Areas Can Be Treated?
How Many Treatments are Needed?
Typically a series of 3 treatments is needed, depending on your area of correction or concern. Larger, deeper scars and other skin imperfections may take more treatments. Treatments are usually spaced in 4 week intervals, allowing time for the body to produce it’s natural growth factors.
What Types of Conditions are Treated?
- Acne Scars
- Stretch Marks
- Fine Lines
- Sun Damage
- Large Pores
What Happens During a Treatment?
A sterile disposable needle cartridge, holding 12 or 36 micro needles, is glided across the skin. The needles create micro channels which allow topicals and serums to reach the true targeted areas, producing the best results.
How long will it take for me to see results from my treatment?
Most patients will see results after their first treatment. As with any procedure, individual results will vary. As soon as 1-2 weeks after the first treatment, most patients see true changes and positive results.
Is there Downtime after Treatment?
Micro-Needling is considered a “no down time” treatment. Right after your treatment your skin will look slightly pink to moderately red. We will recommend skin care products for you to use as a post-care protocol to minimize symptoms. You may want to have your treatment well in advance of important events.
